{Review} Heart Wide Open
This book was a breath of fresh air.
It was something that my thirsty soul had been longing for and desperately craved.
If you every thought "there has GOT to be something more to this Sunday church-going experience," or if you have even thought "maybe Jesus isn't the answer..." then this book is for you.
Tomilson describes her own journey toward an intimate relationship with her Creator, and advises how you can pursue that relationship in your own life too. Because, if you're like me, you've been in that place of "I need MORE."
Tomilson writes, "If you've ever felt a desire to know God, you've felt God move. If you are hungry to know God, you've heard Him call. With His help, we can learn to recognize His voice and see His hand at work" (83).
I have one warning: don't read this book if you're not ready to fall head over heals in love with Christ. Because it's going to happen - and it's awesome.
You can purchase the book here, through Multnomah.
Here's a quick disclaimer: every thought & opinion posted here is my own. I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
